Do I need to be there when you pick up my car?

Can someone else be present for my pickup if I am not able to be there?

⚡ In many cases you do not need to be present at pickup, but always confirm with your Carrier first, as not all Carriers can accommodate an unattended pickup.

🗒️ Here's how

  1. Let your Carrier know you can not be present for pickup, and if you have someone that will handle the pickup in your place

    • If you do not have someone handling the pickup on your behalf, confirm with the Carrier where the title and keys will be left on the day of pickup

  2. Make sure the title is signed by the titled owner before pickup day

💡 Good to know

  • Not all Carriers can accommodate unattended pickups; confirm with your Carrier first, as their ability to do so may depend on their policies and equipment

  • If someone is handling the pickup on your behalf, they must be over the age of 18 to receive payment on the spot, and this must be communicated to your Carrier

  • If no one will be present at pickup, payment can be mailed to you once the pickup is confirmed, contact Peddle to arrange this in advance

  • If you are handling the sale on behalf of the registered owner such as a spouse, parent, or relative, the owner does not need to be present as long as the title is signed in advance and prior arrangements have been made with the Carrier

  • Your Carrier's name and contact information can be found by Logging in to your account or in your texts and emails from Peddle.

  • All title and ownership documentation must be completed by the titled owner before pickup, this cannot be done by someone else
