Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Nevada

The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:

1. Fill out the Application for Duplicate Nevada Certificate of Title.

2. You can do one of the following options:

Bring the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Time frame to get the title: 6 weeks
​Cost to obtain: $21
​
Mail the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

​Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was not last titled in Nevada
​
The registered owner of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled in.
