Peddle uses a Positive Pay account with Frost Bank that allows certain carriers to issue payment directly from Peddle’s account at the time of pick-up.
Our carrier should have provided a hand-written check - the check number and check amount were transmitted to the bank as the driver left your location. Your check will be activated and available for cashing or depositing as soon as the bank has received and processed this notification which should take no longer than 30 minutes.
You can verify the availability of funds by calling the phone number printed on the check and selecting option 6. You will be prompted to enter some information listed on the check and the recording will advise you on the availability of funds.
Please note that if you have already presented your check to a bank or check cashing institution for processing, the funds will no longer show as available when calling Frost Bank.
Some depositing banks may also place a temporary deposit hold on any deposited items if they are unfamiliar with the issuing party. Deposit holds are standard banking practices and Peddle is unable to assist with making funds available sooner since we make funds available immediately.
