What do I need to do with my plates?
You must remove your plates and surrender them to your county Tax Collector.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Once your plates are turned in, the record for the vehicle showing your name as owner will no longer be the current ownership record.
You may be eligible for a credit towards registration on your new vehicle after tags have been turned in.
