Download and fill out the Georgia Duplicate Title Application
Submit the application
In person at the Motor Vehicle Division
Time frame: Same day
Cost to obtain: $8 + additional fees
By mailing the application to a local County Tag Office
Time frame: 7-10 business days
Cost to obtain: $8 + additional fees
If the vehicle was last titled outside of Georgia
The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
