Plates should be removed from the vehicle before the sale.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Complete a Sold Notice online, or fill out the back of the vehicle registration and mail it to the address indicated on the form within 10 days of the sale.
You may be eligible for a refund/credit on registration fees.
